Lingua
Medica is a medical document translation and writing service based at
St Bartholomew's Hospital, London. It was founded
in 1988 by research endocrinologist Ian Young and emergency room physician
Charles Kreeger, both of whom had extensive first-hand experience of training
and working in continental Europe and beyond. Staffed exclusively by physicians
and pharmacists on the past and present Hospital staff, it
provides manuscript revision and into-English translation from all the major
languages on all topics of clinical and laboratory medicine, bioscience and
pharmaceutics.
Lingua
Medica caters for fellow academics,
the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare professionals and private individuals
raised in other languages who need to produce impeccable scientific English, for
whatever reason: publication in a quality journal, new drug submission to the
regulatory authorities, website makeover, clinical reports.
