Dr Charles
Kreeger
After secondary
school in London, Charles Kreeger took a degree in German at
Warwick University before qualifying as a doctor from the Free
University of Berlin, where he financed his studies by medical
translation and taxi-driving (passing the daunting Berlin
taxi-drivers' exam at his first attempt). After intern posts
in Germany, he returned to the UK to take up a series of
appointments, including at St Bartholomew's Hospital, where he
co-founded Lingua Medica with Dr Ian
Young - specialising in medical document translation from
German-to-English, French-to-English, Italian-to-English,
Spanish-to-English and Hebrew-to-English. |
